The 1968 classic Planet of the Apes, based on the french novel of the same title (that for some reason was originally retitled Monkey Planet in English) action movie reviews captured the imaginations of the moviegoers (blog post) 44 years ago (blog) - Does it still hold up today, or has time rendered it near unrecognizeable?
